Interactive Portal, an Application Service Provider (ASP) offering subscription-based communications services and other applications to home office workers, mobile workers, and businesses of all sizes.

Project Description

Interactive Portal was a new company that needed a public web site to describe their service offerings to potential customers. The public site also needed to serve as a template that could be used in the private, members-only portion of the site. The company wanted to make sure it was easy for new customers to sign up for their services and easy for existing customers to log in.

Solution

Flying Pylon designed a site for Interactive Portal that was clean, simple, and easy to use. Special efforts were made to coordinate the site's primary colors with the company's logo, even though the logo changed a number of times during the process. Every page included the prominent "Sign up NOW!" button in the menu bar, making it easy for new customers to sign up for their services (the button also changed color when the mouse pointer hovered over it). The prominent location of the member login form on the home page made it easy for members to log into the site as well.

Current Site

Interactive Portal was absorbed by Interactive Intelligence in mid-2001.
